CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System was founded in 1869 by three Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word who heeded a call from the Catholic bishop of Texas. Upon arriving in San Antonio, they founded the first hospital in the south Texas region – CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital, thus starting their illustrious history of caring for the multitude of sick, infirm, and orphaned in the Texas frontier.

Today, they remain the only Catholic faith-based, non-profit health care system in San Antonio and New Braunfels. Their healing ministry includes six full-service hospitals and a number of specialty centers throughout the metro area.

THE CHALLENGE

The CHRISTUS network offers a complete range of services for patients in every stage of life. Thus, they require a wide array of marketing materials, and an agency with the flexibility and dedication to keep it all straight, on time, engaging, and brand compliant. Whew!

THE PROCESS

AMMO is just such an agency. For years, Senior Art Director Meredith Lomas has worked personally with the CHRISTUS VP of Marketing to ensure timely and creative solutions are found for their multiple service lines. Our collateral ranges from print and web ad creation to eBlasts, newsletters, direct mail, special event promotion, and content for their expansive website and intranet. AMMO has also written several video and radio scripts for the system as well as extensive “What to Expect” guides for expectant mothers and joint replacement surgery candidates.
