Impressed by digital impressions? Don’t be.

Digital marketing impressions are largely useless.

Think of an impression as somebody driving by your business. They might have seen your sign and that cute planter you put in the window. But did they stop and come in? Did they buy something? Nope. They kept driving.

So if you’re doing digital marketing and you’re being shown how many millions of impressions you got, don’t fall for it. Those are just people driving by, and lots of agencies like to wow clients with impression numbers with lots of commas. Look for how many engagements you got – likes, clicks, shares, calls, or whatever your actual goal is. Your goal is called a conversion, and all your marketing should be built to convert.

Getting passersby to convert takes research, differentiation, and a compelling message. In a word, it takes strategy.

Lucky for you, AMMO is a marketing strategy agency. We can help.
