Marketing Strategy
Isn’t marketing just sending out a salesperson?
“Meet Cliff. We stole him from a local car dealership to be our marketing guy.”
Cliff may very well be an outstanding salesperson. However, if you send him out on the town to sell for your business, unless you’re in the car business, both you and Cliff are going to have a hard time. The problem is that marketing is not sales. Sales is a piece of marketing. Sales is what you do after you’ve done your research, positioning, and branding, and started advertising.
Your salesperson should be armed with market knowledge, differentiation points so they can explain why your offering is better than the competition’s, professional and engaging presentation materials, and an attitude and demeanor that is memorable.
Yeah, all that is part of marketing. It’s called strategy, and for Cliff – and you – to succeed, you need it.
Lucky for you, AMMO’s a marketing strategy agency. We can help.
